A support group is essentially a self-help group. It is a forum that provides a safe place of sharing one’s intimate and personal experiences to create an enriching experience for the listeners and an opportunity to connect.
The burn support group is a sharing space for burn patients and survivors to connect with each other and grow from each other experiences. It is a platform to lend knowledge and awareness on coping with scars and disfigurement post hospitalization. |
Burns Survival Meeting in National Burns Centre, Airoli |
National burns Centre, Airoli has started Burns Survival Group for all burns patient of India .Here we have all kinds of Burns survivors (accidental, suicidal and homicidal burn). It gives them a forum to discuss their common problems in day to day activities. They share each others thoughts and encourage each other to lead a normal life.
